2/2-way pilot operated solenoid valves

Introduction pilot operated solenoid valves
This group of solenoid valves make use of the inlet pressure of the medium in order to open the valve and to close it. By means of two small control channels that can be located, in the valve body or obturator: a little help can not be ruled opening and greater control opening which is closed by the seal of the magnetic core.
For convenience, we have the pilot operated solenoid valves, depending on whether the magnetic core is whether or not linked to the closure, divided into the following categories:

• Non-linked membrane structure
• Non-floating piston design
• Linked membrane construction
• Linked piston construction

In case of non-coupled membrane or piston constructions always requires a minimum pressure difference between the system and the system for the shut-off valve behind the shut-off valve. This is necessary in order to open the shut-off valve and keep it open. The minimum required pressure difference is in this case always indicated in the technical documentation.
Solenoid-operated valve in which the magnet core is mechanically coupled to the closure member operating from 0 bar up to the stated maximum permissible differential pressure.
This is in contrast to non-linked structures does not require a minimum pressure drop in order to hold the magnet. Valve is open
These structures may be more economical than the direct-acting solenoid valves because in a relatively smaller number of cases, electromagnets can be used.
